About Us

Illawarra Animal Hospital was founded in 2015 in Yallah. We’ve quickly grown thanks to our friendly approach and commitment to going the extra mile for our patients. Our team of veterinarians and nurses are passionate about providing high-quality care to all animals, ensuring your pet is healthy and well.

In 2018 a new second location was established in Figtree. This second location is not only a general hospital like Yallah but offers Rehabilitation services under the brand name Illawarra Animal Rehabilitation. These services were previously not available in the Illawarra Region.

Illawarra Animal Hospital has also grown due to a caring, knowledgeable and friendly team of Vets and Nurses ready to help you today and everyday.

The team has lots of enthusiasm, fresh ideas and some of the latest gadgets available in veterinary equipment. Our hospitals have been purpose built with many features aimed at making your visit easier and our patients that much more comfortable. It ’s the little things that make a big difference!

We are not a public company but instead we are a local family based business. We consider our clients as family members and our patients, we show care as if they were our own.

For anyone looking for a vet hospital that offers impeccable care and outstanding customer service, the team at Illawarra Animal Hospital are here to help.

We pride ourselves on personalised service and our veterinarians come with years of experience caring for all creatures great and small. Our vets are very ably supported by a knowledgeable, caring and compassionate team of Veterinary Technicians and Nurses.

Our Nurses are all career veterinary care professionals. They are experienced in all aspects of small animal veterinary nursing and some are learning large animals too. The backbone of our hospital is, if they’re not helping the vets with surgery or medical treatment, they will be the first there to greet you with a smile or a cup of coffee. The owners of menageries and small zoos themselves, they do however have a weakness for cuddles!

We support the training and development of Veterinary Technicians. It is a pleasure to have them working with us.
